HCi's hydronic offering is centered on balancing and control assemblies that complete the water-side "pumping system" at the terminal unit and branch level. The portfolio includes Pressure Independent Control Valves (PICVs), manual and automatic balancing solutions, six-way control valve / coil kit assemblies, isolation and strainer valves, plus key accessories such as air vents, drain valves, extensions, and flexible hose assemblies for fast, repeatable connections.

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

Key attributes focus on system stability, controllability, and maintainability. The PICV combines differential pressure control + regulation + 2-port control in one body, delivering constant flow within operating limits, maximum flow limiting once set, and high valve authority for consistent temperature control—particularly effective in variable-flow systems. Commissioning assemblies integrate isolation, test points, air venting, drain, and strainers so everything required is consolidated at the terminal connection.

For clients, HCi delivers reduced commissioning effort, fewer balancing issues, and better long-term performance. PICVs reduce or eliminate the need for separate balancing valves while maintaining design flow despite pressure changes. The product set adds the most value in hydronic HVAC applications such as fan coils, chilled beams, and AHU coils, where repeatable flow control, flushing/verification, and service access drive project outcomes. Flexible hose assemblies support fast installation and leak-tested connections in terminal-unit and WSHP-style hose kit use cases.
